At Moira Veterinary Clinic our goal is to build lasting relationships with our patients so that we can come to know their special and individual needs, and they can come to know us and trust us in our care and handling.

It is by practicing these principles that we strive to be thought of first and foremost when the medical needs of a beloved companion become a family concern.

We are animal lovers ourselves and deeply appreciate the special relationship that exists between people and their pets.........

Dr. Tummon is definitely not new to the community. Born and raised on his family farm just north of Belleville, he attended Centennial Secondary School. He then went to the University of Guelph and received his undergraduate in science and his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2002.

After several years of practicing medicine and gaining experience across the province he has now returned home to start a practice of his own.

Through those years Dr Tummon gained a great deal of experience and further training in small animal diagnostics and medicine. He has also spent a large amount of time working with exotic animals - from tigers and cougars to large snakes and reptiles.

His greatest personal passion is laparoscopy - a minimally invasive surgery that allows for less painful surgery for your pet, shorter recovery times and therefore peace of mind for you and your family.

Dr Tummon is a member of several veterinary organizations such as the CVO, OVMA and VIN which allows for exchange of information among veterinarians.
